A Journey Worth Embracing

September 4, 2023 / Filed Under: Marriage

Being married

Having a healthy relationship with your wife is very important to the success of a marriage. Building and maintaining that relationship is a journey both you and your partner should embark on. I will not claim myself to be an expert on this subject, in my opinion each relationship is different. That is why it is something nourished and treasured.

I see our marriage as an ongoing journey, it needs to be resilient and understanding. Sure, you might encounter bumps along the way but remember, it’s in these moments that the true strength of your bond shines through. By staying together, you can conquer anything that comes your way.

Support and encouragement is important for each individual to grow and thrive. When I have a project, I want to do, my wife supports me and when I am lazy or demotivated, she encourages me to continue. I also do this to her in whatever she wants to do. My wife serves as my forever inspiration for me to be my better version.

With two kids and nine pets, we sometimes forget the two of us. We always remind ourselves to make time for just the two of us. It does need to be expensive nor outside, we sometimes just stay at home and talk while having coffee. We share a bowl of ice cream and a laugh together. As long as we share the moment, it is enough for us.

We also found out that we love to try new things together. New restaurant, visit new places, experience new things. These moments become part of our core memory, something we can look back and have a laugh together.

Our marriage is not perfect, we have struggles and arguments, and we will have them in the future. But no relationship is perfect because no individual is perfect. Marriage is about two imperfect beings choosing to love and grow together.
