Smart Buys on Shopee Every Dad Should Know About (Budget-Friendly & Tatay-Approved)

October 10, 2025 / Filed Under: Dad Finds

Let’s be honest — every dad loves a good deal.
Whether it’s a new phone stand, a mini screwdriver set, or something to make life a little easier, walang tatalo sa feeling na nakamura ka at sulit ang bili mo.

As someone who juggles work, family, and the occasional “Tay, ayusin mo ‘to!” at home, I’ve found a few Shopee items that actually make sense for dads like us. Hindi lang display — talagang useful.

1. The Cordless Drill Kit

Price: Around ₱700 – ₱1,000
For all the “Pwede ko na ‘tong ayusin” moments.
Perfect for assembling furniture, fixing small things, or pretending to be a handyman even when you’re just hanging a picture frame. Bonus points if your wife sees you doing it. 😂

2. Foldable Laptop Stand

Price: ₱200 – ₱400
For the WFH or night-shift dads, this helps with posture (at para hindi mangalay leeg mo habang naka-Zoom).
Adjustable, sturdy, and makes you look productive — kahit minsan YouTube lang talaga ‘yung naka-open.

3. Smart Plug

Price: ₱300 – ₱500
Turn off lights, fans, or appliances with your phone.
Great for those nights when you’re already in bed and your daughter suddenly says, “Papa, naiwan mo yung ilaw.”

4. Portable Coffee Maker

Price: ₱1,000 – ₱1,500
Because nothing says “dad fuel” like caffeine on demand.
Perfect for long rides, night shifts, or early morning starts. Bonus: it looks cool on your desk.

5. Noise-Cancelling Earphones

Price: ₱600 – ₱1,200
Essential for working from home, especially when your kids decide to reenact Encanto while you’re in a meeting.
Blocks noise, saves sanity.

6. Magnetic Phone Mount for Motorcycle

Price: ₱300 – ₱700
For motorcycle dads (like me!) — this is a game-changer.
Strong grip, 360° rotation, and perfect for using navigation safely while riding.

7. Rechargeable Emergency Light

Price: ₱400 – ₱800
Laging handa si Tatay.
Whether it’s a brownout or late-night repair, this little thing earns its keep.

Being a dad means finding practical solutions — without overspending.
Shopee may be full of random stuff, pero if you know where to look, you’ll find items that make your life easier, safer, and a little more fun.

And let’s admit it — may saya talaga sa pag-click ng “Add to Cart” knowing it’s for the family (or at least, that’s what we tell ourselves 😎).
