Lunch Out at Racks

February 11, 2015 / Filed Under: Food, Lifestyle

Having lunch out with our family is something special even if we do it every week. We went to the new Racks restaurant in Timog Avenue because my wife is craving for some ribs. For starters we ordered their Onion Brick while my wife and our daughter shared their beef ribs, I ordered the grilled Angus Beef Rib Eye. The last time I ate in Racks was way way back my college years me and my best pal Jason  frequently visited Racks in front of U.E Recto manila.

It has been 14 years and yet Racks has always left the impression of  casual dinning with a family friendly environment. We enjoyed our lunch at Racks Timog Avenue. Our cravings were satisfied without over spending. The staff were friendly and always there to accommodate our needs. Parking is not a problem there is a big space allotted for Racks customers and there is a security waiting to assist in safe guarding your vehicle. But when we went there is was a road re-blocking going on near Mother Ignacia corner Timog Avenue causing vehicles to bottle neck on that area so expect a little bit of traffic, please be patient.

Racks is my favorite restaurant for baby back ribs and steak! I wish they open a branch in SM Dasma too so we don’t have to go to ATC or MOA if we have cravings for back ribs.

I guess, next time we visit Racks, I’ll order the Onion Brick. It triggers my curiosity on how does it taste like.

We used to frequent Racks in the Fort. We would go after running, hahaha! (which explains why we have not lost the weight we were trying to burn). I think I want to go back again….you’re right about it having a family-friendly environment. It’s actually one of the reasons why we choose to go back there with our kids.
